This is a simultaneous run in 6 cities on February 26, 2012 6:00am.(Quirino Grandstand, Clark Field Pampanga, Nuvali Sta. Rosa Laguna,San Jose City Nueva Ecija, Naga City and Legazpi City)there will be no RKID (racing chip) for provincial running sites.
The 1st Annual LUUM Half Marathon Tourism Run will be held in San Fernando City, La Union this February 25, 2012. San Fernando City is located in the northern part of the country and easily accesable both to land and air travel. Its five (5) hours land travel and forty-five (45)minutes air travel from Manila.
This event is organized to showcase to the rest of the world the pristine beauty of La Union. La Union offers beautiful breathtaking landscape, both coastal and mountain for the Tourists to explore and enjoy. This is why the event is aptly named LUUM or translated in english as “ripe”. named LUUM or translated in english as “ripe”. This is to say to the rest of the world that La Union is liken to a fruit waiting to be “eaten” or taste at, to discover that indeed La Union is truly a “sweet”, amazing and unforgetable place to be.
And most of all, when you join the race you will help the 200 impoverish athletes of La Union whom the only way to education is thru sports – part of the proceeds will help them acquire their needed sports equipments.
Run with the Fans: PBA Run for a Cause is for the benefit of children with cancer at the Hematology Dept. of the Philippine Children’s Medical Hospital. This fun run also aims to promote healthy lifestyle.
Started last year by De La Salle Alumni Association – Pampanga Chapter (DLSAA-Pampanga), it was organized to raise funds for the chapter’s first green initiative: the Sapangbato Tree Planting Project. In cooperation with the Sapangbato Farmers Group, it aims to support the eventual development of a watershed in our area.

On January 22, 2012, witness a trailblazing event unfold across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao; KAHIT ISANG ARAW LANG UNITY RUN. In Metro Manila the fun run will be held at SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City simultaneous in 6 other cities in Visayas and Mindanao.
Last Year, more than 50,000 runners joined in our event “TAKBO PARA SA LIBRENG KOLEHIYO”. Thus leaving a mark in history not only through the number of runners, but for the realization of its advocacy of providing free college education. Four months after the event, the dream became reality – The LA VERDAD FREE COLLEGE at Caloocan city was officially inaugurated and opened its doors to 200 scholars with free tuition fees, free books, free uniforms, and even free meals.
This year, we will make it happen again. We will take a giant leap and take the entire nation to run for the noble cause of helping provide computer laboratories for selected schools all over the Philippines.

Winning the elusive Olympic gold medal is the ultimate goal of every member of thePhilippine National Team. The proceeds from this run will provide qualifying athletes with supplementary funding to help them train for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
More than just raising funds, we aim to boost the morale of the athletes by generating enough participating runners to publicly demonstrate the Filipinos’ overwhelming support for the Philippine National Team.
Run to Support Our Troops is a benefit fun run to refurbish and improve the AFP Medical Center which caters their sick and wounded personnel as well as their dependents. The event will be on January 7, 2012 at Camp Aguinaldo.
