Globe Run for Home is the annual charity fun run organized by Globe Telecom which aims to raise funds for a group of beneficiaries whose causes are geared towards building sustainable shelter for the less fortunate. Globe Run for Home 2012 aims to raise funds for the beneficiaries of Cebu Biodiversity and Conservation Foundation, Gawad Kalinga, Habitat for Humanity, and the Philippine Tarsier Foundation. Runners can choose from the 3Km, 5Km, 10Km, 15Km, and 21Km categories.
The charity fun run with the title ER: The Emergency Run coming this March 11, 2012, is a partnership between the UP Pre-Medical Honor Society and The Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation, Inc. UP PMHS aims to raise funds to aid in covering the operational expenses of the Philippine General Hospital.

On July 22 in celebration of Bohol Day and Sandugo Festival the Bohol Marathon 2012 will be the first full marathon to be held around the Island of Panglao. A 360 race course loop around the coastal road of the Municapilities of Dauis and Panglao.
DZMM is mounting the second annual “DZMM Takbo Para sa Karunungan,” a fun run that will benefit scholars from Sendong-hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan, on March 11, 6 a.m. at the Quirino Grandstand.
Continuing last year’s advocacy for education, the event will be for the benefit of 25 students from Cagayan de Oro and 25 more from Iligan who were robbed of their chance to study when Sendong devastated their cities. It will also raise funds for the continued scholarship of the 25 Ondoy victims who were chosen as beneficiaries of last year’s run.
DZMM started organizing such an event in 1999, when it launched the “DZMM Takbo Para sa Kalikasan”. The run, which was annually held until 2010, was in support of several campaigns for the environment such as the continued rehabilitation of the La Mesa watershed and the Pasig Rehabilitation Project through ABS-CBN Foundation’s “Bantay Kalikasan”.
