For some people, it takes time, sweat, the occasional tears and total commitment to yield one beautiful smile. The team of doctors and surgeons that make up the Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation Philippines, Inc. (NCFPI) do just that on a weekly basis as one in every 500 Filipinos are born with cleft.

NCFPI is a non-profit organization inspired by the “love makes whole“ ideals of Dr. M. Samuel Noordhoff, a renowned American surgeon and philanthropist. Initially established in Taiwan and the US, the Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation aims to establish comprehensive cleft care centers sustained by support from local bodies.

Run! Boost up! On its 75th year, the UP Engineering Radio Guild (UP ERG) will launch ACTIVATE! RUN and PUMP it UP on August 29 at the UP Diliman Academic Oval grounds. The run calls out for everyone to participate to join the movement towards a great advocacy.

In cooperation with SIBAT (SIBol ng Agham at Teknolohiya), through the Paanang Bundok project, this event will be able to help striving coffee farmers in Batangas to have a solar-powered water pumping system.
