Cagayan Valley Bloggers Society and Philippine Chambers of Commerce and Industry – Cagayan Chapter, in cooperation with Department of Tourism Region 2, Department of Education Region 2, Department of Trade and Industry Region 2, Cooperative Development Authority, and Municipality of Santa Ana bring you “Cagayan Valley Run 2012: Race for Education” on March 31, 2012, 5:00 am at Santa Ana, Cagayan. The proceeds of this activity will go for the high school education of the deserving Grade 6 students from Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino.

Globe Run for Home 2012 aims to raise funds for the beneficiaries of Cebu Biodiversity and Conservation Foundation, Gawad Kalinga, Habitat for Humanity, and the Philippine Tarsier Foundation. Runners can choose from the 3Km, 5Km, 10Km, 15Km, and 21Km categories.

St. Luke’s International Eye Institute Eye Run 2012

In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, the St. Luke’s Medical Center International Eye Institute (SLMC-IEI) will have additional beneficiaries of twenty-five (25) charity patients who will undergo major eye surgery (to be subsidized in full) at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City. SLMC-IEI will also embark on a nationwide awareness campaign for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a preventable cause of blindness among premature babies.
